Bailey's 5th Birthday

I can't believe my baby girl is 5 yrs. old! She has grown up so fast! She is smart, fun, energetic, beautiful, and a great big sister. Bailey had a makeover party this year with her cousins and her best friend, Tienna. They had tons of fun getting makeup on and their hair curled. Then they put on a little runway show, with feather boas and attitude:) After that there was cupcake decorating and presents. Bailey got 3 new Barbies, clothes, money, jewelry, and Beauty and the Beast DVD. I am so grateful to have her in my life, to teach me how to love more fully and to have more patience. She is a firecracker of a girl and I wouldn't have it any other way:) Happy Birthday Sweetheart:)

New Member of the Herman Family

I had great intentions this weekend, I swear. I invited 2 of my sister-in-laws over to help me decorate my house. Things were going as planned, when I mentioned that Matt and I had been talking about getting a cat. My SIL's are animal lovers so they jumped right on board, and before I knew it, we were on Craig's List looking for kittens. Well, a family about 15 min North had 4 free kittens, so we called them and they told us to come on over. They totally lived out in the middle of no where in a trailer, sad to admit this but I was a little nervous. Anyway, we found it and they had 4 of the cutest kittens ever. Of course I was drawn to the Orange Tabby cat who was definitely the most handsome. He is so adorable and friendly. So he is the one I picked and my SIL, Heather decided to take a black female kitten, who had an Orange stripe on her forehead and one on you forearm. She was adorable too. So now we are a happy little family of six:) Bailey has lovingly named "her" kitty...Charlie Whiskers Herman. He is super playful and very smart. He hasn't had any potty accidents yet and lets hope it stays that way:) He does scratch a lot though, so he isn't completely perfect...But almost:)

IT'S FALL!

Yes, it is fall and I haven't posted since Spring:) Sorry about that, but a lot has been happening in life. I will not try and play catch up, because there is too much so I will just post what has been going on this month. We had a wonderful Labor day at Heritage Square. Bailey had so much fun with her cousin Sophie! She went on so many rides I think we have a little Dare Devil on our hands. The boys didn't get to do much accept hang out with mommy, which is super fun:) After Labor day we had lots of packing to do because we bought our first Home! We closed on Sept 10th! We moved to Henderson, CO...only about 25 min. from where we lived before. Our house is brand new and beautiful. It is just perfect for us. There are so many young families here too. I think we will be happy here for along time. We even live next to a farm with a corn field! I love the country! The kids seem to be adjusting fine to it, they love their new rooms and having a back yard. That is the best:) Anyway, that is what has been happening here lately. Now if anyone wants to come visit, you can stay with us:):)
Is it wrong to think it is so funny when the boys fight during meals.

Snowing in April

Not a lot has happened since my last post. The boys are doing great still. Lincoln still has some medical issues been nothing big. Ian is rolling and scooting around everywhere, so we have to be careful what we leave on the floor. Everything goes straight in his mouth. Bailey is still loving preschool and her teacher says she is doing great. It was fun seeing my Aunt Diane and Uncle Mike. We went out to dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. It was yummy. I swear the burrito Matt got was as big as my head. It was crazy! Today it is snowing like a blizzard. Is that supposed to be happening at the end of April? Only in CO. Anyway, here are so me pics for our enjoyment:) Lincoln and Ian, playing on the floor.

Busy Busy Busy!

Sorry it has been forever. Life with 3 kids is busier than I thought. Lincoln and Ian are doing great. They are 7 1/2 mos. and so cute. They are both between 16 and 17 pounds now, which is awesome. I expected them to be smaller since they were born so early, but they haven't wasted any time catching up:) Ian is really good at using his hands for picking up toys and transferring it between his hands. Lincoln is really good at sitting up, it's funny that they have different strengths.
Bailey started Preschool finally and loves it! It is so fun watching her learn. She is getting really good at writing her letters. She can write just about anything if i tell her how to spell it. She is making lots of friends and is starting to love boys! She recently decided that she has a crush on her Uncle Golden:) Watch out Aunt Carly, you have competition:)
Matt is doing good, he got a job at Comcast doing sales. He likes it, even though it is a lot of hard work. He still plays basketball every week and is sore all the time:) He is still pretty good at it though:)
I am just doing all the things a mom does:) I am happy taking care of my sweet kids, who entertain me daily:) So now we are all updated, Hopefully i can write more often:) Here are some pics...Matt and Bailey at Nuggets autograph signing.

I am still Alive

Yes, I am sorry I have been MIA for a few months, but a lot has been on my plate. Since my last post, we went to Utah in July and had an awesome baby shower and family reunion., I went in the hospital a week later at 26 weeks pregnant, was on bed rest for 2 weeks and then went into Labor at 28 weeks. I had twin boys, Lincoln Edward (3 pbs. 5 oz), and Ian Garth(2 pbs. 9 oz). We were driving back and forth to the hospital everyday for 3 mos. Both boys are home now and doing great. They are still on oxygen, but that was expected. Lincoln has some other issues, like an umbilical hernia, high blood pressure, and awful reflux. He also has an enlarged kidney. They say all of these things should resolve in time. Ian is just on oxygen, otherwise he is the bigger of the 2 now. We feel very blessed that they came out so well. Bailey loves them and thinks she is their mommy:) She is 4 now and learning so much, it is exciting. It is so great to be a mom. I am still in the tired phase but wouldn't trade this time for the world. Anyway, I hope to keep up much better now that life has somewhat settled. Take care everyone:)

24 weeks:)

Sorry it has been a while. Life just gets busy I guess:) I had my 24 week check up today. I had to have my Gestational diabetes test. You have to drink this nasty drink and then they draw your blood. I had to drink it right before my ultrasound, which was totally funny because the boys were on a total sugar high. They were kicking eachother and rolling around. It was quite entertaining:) Anyway, All is well. One baby is measuring 1 pound 10 ounces and the other baby is 1 pound 11 ounces. They are in competition to see who will be the biggest. Too close to call right now:) I don't have time to scan and post Ultrasound pics tonight, because we are are leaving for UT and the morning. YAY! It will have to be next week sometime:) I will post a sort of ugly 6 month shot of me though. Be gentle please:) Anyway, I hope all is well with everyone and i can't wait to see those of you in UT this week:)
